ABC Teachers are seeking confident and adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors at our client secondary schools in Yardley. As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their work. Your experience as a Youth Worker will help you build positive relationships with students and maintain a constructive learning environment.

• Previous experience as a Youth Worker or in a similar role working with young people.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence to lead and supervise classes across a range of subjects.
• A genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives.
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different school environments.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

• a suitable qualification to teach Cover Supervisor i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
