About the role
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Classroom Management: Supervising students in the classroom, ensuring they stay on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
- Instruction Delivery: Delivering pre-prepared lessons and managing the classroom environment.
- Supporting Students: Assisting students with any questions or difficulties they have with the assigned work.
- Maintaining Order: Managing behavior in the classroom and dealing with any issues that arise.
- Reporting: Keeping records of attendance and any incidents that occur during the lesson.
