ABC Teachers are looking to register an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support to children in KS1. The school requires an experienced Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification who works well with children with Autism and additional needs. The school is based in North Coventry - CV6 area.

This position is to start with immediate effect and run on a long term basis, possibly the end of the academic year.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • • Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs
  • • Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
  • • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
  • • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
