Join our team at ABC Teachers! We are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to contribute to the vibrant learning environment of a SEND school located in the heart of Shrewsbury.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to students, both individually and in small groups. Your primary focus will be nurturing a student-centered approach to learning, assisting with classroom activities, and ensuring that each student's unique requirements are addressed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver effective classroom support, adapting to the diverse needs of students.
- Cultivate an inclusive atmosphere that empowers students to reach their full potential.
- This is a full-time, ongoing position, with immediate openings available as well as September 2024 starts.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong rapport with students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Have previous experience working with children and young individuals with SEND.
- Possess excellent communication and behavior management skills.
- Be willing to provide suitable references and undergo a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- experience in SEND setting
