We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to join a ‘Good’ secondary school in Stafford. This part-time role (2 days per week) will begin after Easter and continue on an ongoing basis.

About the role

  • Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality and engaging lessons.
  • Take full teaching responsibility, including planning, marking, assessments, and attending relevant meetings.
  • Support and challenge students to achieve their best in Mathematics.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Maths 0.4 you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – essential.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – essential.
