ABC Teachers are seeking a Sociology Teacher to assist with teaching sociology and social science to local secondary schools in and around the Wolverhampton area.

The Role
As a Sociology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging Sociology lessons at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including GCSE and A-Level.
- Foster an understanding of sociological theories, methods, and concepts, encouraging critical analysis of contemporary social issues.
- Inspire students to explore topics such as social stratification, crime and deviance, and the role of education in society.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students with diverse abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention to support their development.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and initiatives.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Sociology at GCSE and A-Level.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and the ability to make Sociology relatable and relevant.
- Possesses strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high expectations for all students.
- Is passionate about empowering students to think critically and understand the complexities of society.
- Is collaborative, innovative, and committed to ongoing professional development.
