ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a respected SEND school in Stoke-on-Trent

About the role

Provide 1:1 support in the classroom for students with a range of moderate to complex additional needs, including ASD and some challenging behaviours.
Adapt to individual student needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Assist the class teacher with general tasks, behaviour management, and material preparation as needed.
This is a full-time, long-term position.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and the unique needs of each child
• Possess strong behaviour management skills.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Be passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
