ABC Teachers are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Learning Support Assistant for a full-time role in a lovely SEND school located in Shrewsbury.
About the role
- Supporting 1:1 and in small nurture groups with students, providing a child-centred approach to learning
- Provide effective classroom support to the teacher and attend to pupil’s needs.
- Promote inclusion in the classroom, and encourage students to reach their full potential
- Role to start as soon as possible, and will be on a full time, ongoing basis.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Able to establish a strong rapport with pupils, promoting a positive atmosphere.
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with SEND
- Have strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- experience in SEND settings
