ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Wolverhampton part-time.

About the role

The role

A well-established school seeks an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring SEN teaching assistant to work with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children on a one-to-one and small-group basis in a classroom setting, working alongside a Teacher and an additional teaching assistant.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
  • Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • two years supporting students with special educational needs
