About the role
ABC Teachers are working with established Secondary Schools in across Cannock. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the preparation of lesson materials.
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise students during lessons and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement educational strategies.
- Contribute to the overall welfare and development of students.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Secondary Teaching Assistant you will:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience is preferred.
