• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and encourage student participation.
• Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring adherence to school policies.
• Support students with their learning and ensure lessons are progressing smoothly.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain high standards of education.

• Previous experience working in a secondary school environment (as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role)
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• A passion for education and helping students achieve their best.
• Flexibility to work across various schools in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
• Hold or able to obtain a DBS check and register to the update service.
