We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and help make a positive impact on our students’ learning journey.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum to students, working both individually and in small groups.
- Provide assistance to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their best.
- Assist in the preparation of lesson materials and classroom resources.
- Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback where necessary.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Help maintain classroom discipline and encourage students to engage in their learning.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified: Must hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experienced: At least 1 years’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
- Skilled: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with the National Curriculum and strategies for supporting students with a range of learning needs.
- Organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Positive: A proactive, enthusiastic approach to supporting students’ learning and development.

To be considered for the role of Secondary Qualified TA you will:
- Experience as a Secondary school TA
- A TA Qualification or equivalent
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- A level 2 or 3 TA Qualification or equivalent
