About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a motivated General Science Cover Supply Teacher to join our team, providing high-quality education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
As a General Science Cover Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons to secondary school students in the Shirley area.
- Cover planned and unplanned absences for full-time teachers, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.
- Adapt to different school environments and teaching styles, maintaining a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Work with a range of students, helping to foster their interest and understanding of scientific concepts.
About the school
This is a great opportunity for you to work either full-time or flexiblity within our client schools. They are welcoming and friendly, endeavouring to support supply staff. Most school environments we work with have nearby transport links and provide on site parking.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Experience in teaching General Science in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Science i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
