We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team to work in a school in the Wolverhampton area. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching a range of science subjects—such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you are an experienced educator or an early career teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to work in diverse educational settings, engaging and inspiring young minds. The school maybe willing to take a job share for the right candidate. This role is to start after the Easter break
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Teach a range of scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to actively participate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a science-related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Flexibility to work across a variety of school environments in and around Wolverhampton
Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
- Passion for inspiring and motivating young people to explore science.
