ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Selly Oak, starting in September.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects and explores various religious perspectives.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

• a suitable qualification to teach RE i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
