About the role
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at to work with well-established schools in and around Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is committed to fostering a love for RE, promoting critical thinking, and encouraging students to explore different worldviews in an engaging and respectful way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality RE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Planning and preparing engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contributing to the development of the RE curriculum and extra-curricular activities related to the subject.
- Promoting an inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion, respect, and open-mindedness.
- Engaging with parents and carers to support students’ academic and personal development.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and the ability to teach a wide range of topics, including world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
- A passion for teaching RE and inspiring students to think critically and engage in respectful discussions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Experience in teaching GCSE RE is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- A PGCE in Teaching RE
- Experience of working in secondary schools within the UK
