We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators to work in schools in and around the Wolverhampton area.
Role Overview:
As a Psychology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to students at both GCSE and A-Level, fostering an environment where they can explore psychological concepts and develop analytical skills. You will play a key role in guiding and supporting students as they develop a deep understanding of human behaviour and the underlying principles of psychology.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and inspiring lessons in Psychology to students at Key Stage 4 and 5.
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress and performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and share resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to academic reporting.
- Support students with their academic and personal development, offering guidance where needed.
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and/or A-Level (preferred, but not essential).
- A passion for Psychology and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the well-being and development of all students.
