About the role
As a Psychology Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students across Key Stage 4 and 5. You will help students develop a deep understanding of human behavior, the brain, and the mind, while fostering skills in critical thinking and independent research.
You will have the opportunity to teach A-Level Psychology and potentially contribute to the development of the curriculum for the subject at GCSE. You will work closely with a supportive and passionate team of teachers, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements
- A qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Psychology (or a related field) and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A genuine passion for Psychology and a desire to share your knowledge with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 4 and 5 is desirable, but not essential.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and student welfare.
- A qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Psychology (or a related field) and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology for Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
- Foster an engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including GCSE and A-Level exams.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
