ABC Teachers is actively seeking committed individuals in the Telford area to join our National Teaching Assistant Programme. This programme is designed to equip applicants with essential skills and experience for paid roles in primary school settings with training to commence in December 2024.
About the role
This role will involve:
- Completing four online training modules to prepare you for working in a primary school classroom.
- Benefiting from dedicated support provided by a personal consultant, who will match you with schools that have established partnerships with ABC Teachers.
- Starting with flexible days to gain experience across different settings, with the expectation of transitioning to a full-time role once a suitable position becomes available.
- Participating in a paid trial week at a primary school from the Start of the Spring Term, including constructive feedback at the end of the week to help develop specific skills.
About the school
Placements will be within primary schools and nursery settings in the Telford area, so ideally, we are looking for candidates who are open to both.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong motivation and commitment to working in education.
- Show a positive attitude towards participating in programme activities and collaborating with others.
- Be available for full-time work placements.
- Provide references from your most recent employment.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current DBS check, registered with the update service.
- Salary based on daily rate.
