About the role
ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a passionate Music Supply Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Solihull on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator seeking a flexible, long-term role, working 3 days a week.
As a Music Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Encourage creativity and develop students’ confidence in their musical abilities.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum (if required).
- Support and guide students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Music.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Music department.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- A commitment to working 3 days per week on a long-term basis.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Music i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
