About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team and inspire the next generation of musicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Develop and implement a creative curriculum that fosters students' musical abilities and appreciation.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Organize and participate in school concerts, musical productions, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Music Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching music at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational trends.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Music i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
