ABC Teachers are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic MFL Supply Teacher to work across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. Whether you're a specialist in French, Spanish, or German, we want to hear from you!

About the role

This is an ideal role for a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities, from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and interactive MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Deliver high-quality language learning in French, Spanish, or German.

  • Inspire and support students in developing their language skills and cultural understanding.

  • Maintain effective classroom behaviour and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of MFL Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Passionate about promoting languages and cultural awareness in the classroom.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
