ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Supply Teachers to support our partner schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
About the role
This role is ideal for qualified MFL teachers, whether you’re an early career teacher (ECT) or experienced, who are looking to inspire students while gaining valuable experience across a range of educational settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging MFL lessons in French, Spanish, or German to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline and effectively manage pupil behaviour to facilitate a productive learning experience.
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide feedback on student progress and support their language skills development.
About the school
We currently have a range of Secondary schools in need of support within their MFL department. All schools provide the following:
- Supportive SLT team with ongoing professional development opportunities
- On site parking and public transport links
- PPA time within the timetable
- Provide resources and schemes of work
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with MFL specialism or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience teaching French, Spanish, or German at the secondary school level.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently.
- Hold or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check registered to the update service.
