About the role
As a General Maths Cover Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons and maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Mark and assess students' work when required, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the department during your assignment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Flexibility to work across different schools in the Harborne area.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Maths i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
