About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Maths Teacher to start in January for the new term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students are motivated to achieve their best. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive learning environment where students feel challenged yet supported.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour policy.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including attending meetings and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
