ABC Teachers is seeking a Learning Support Assistant with strong SEND experience to join a well-established special needs school in Wolverhampton.

About the role

Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs in a classroom setting.
Adapt to the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Assist the class teacher with general tasks, tailored learning activities, and material preparation.
This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in September 2024, with flexible opportunities available for other roles.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:

Have effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and individual needs.
Have prior experience working in an SEND setting.
Be passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives.
Be able to obtain suitable references and pass a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
