ABC Teachers is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in King's Norton, on a full-time basis.

About the role

  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Working one to one and in small groups with students who need additional support.
  • Helping to set up and tailor lesson plans to ensure individual needs are always taken into account
  • The role is full-time with the possibility to be ongoing for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
  • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience in SEND settings
