About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Law Teacher to join our Humanities department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality law education to students at Key Stage 5 (A-Level). You will be expected to inspire and engage students, fostering a deep understanding of legal principles and encouraging critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Law to A-Level students.
- Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in line with the curriculum.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to aid their academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and education best practices.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Law or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Law at A-Level is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the A-Level Law curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
