ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with prior experience working with SEN pupils to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a primary school setting in Telford.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

This role includes the following:

  • Cover will be based in the Upper Key Stage 2 setting.
  • Working with a pupil with behavioural needs supporting them on a 1:1 basis in and out of lessons throughout the day.
  • This will be to start from September and continue indefinitely.

This school is based in the Telford area in a one-form entry school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant- Telford- September you will:
  • Have previous experience working on a 1:1 basis with an SEN pupil.
  • Able to work solo as well as part of a team in a childcare environment.
  • Ideally have a Level 3 qualification related to childcare or supporting learning, however anyone with enough relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
  • Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Salary based off hourly rate.
