ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 with an SEN pupil in a lower Key stage 2 class based in a primary school in the Telford area, to start from September and span for the entirety of the Autumn Term.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role will include:
- Supporting an SEN pupil with behavioural needs in a Key Stage 2 class setting.
- Starting as a long-term supply staff but with the potential for the new academic year to become a permanent member of staff for the right fits.
- Full time with hours from 08:30-15:30.
About the school
This will be located at a two-form entry school based in the Telford area, boasting a welcoming and supporting team of staff.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant- Telford you will:
- Have had previous experience working effectively with an SEN child.
- Have a willingness to develop skills supporting learning.
- Be able to commit to full-time work.
- Ideally have a teaching assistant or childcare qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
- Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on hours worked.
