JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a passionate and innovative ICT Teacher to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information and Communication Technology and a commitment to engaging students in practical, hands-on learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering digital literacy, and preparing students for the technological demands of the future. We can offer full or part time positions to the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons to students at various educational levels.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that covers a range of ICT topics, including computer science, programming, digital literacy, and cybersecurity.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ICT education and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification/license in ICT or a relevant subject area.
- Proven experience teaching ICT at Key stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, programming languages, and educational technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of ICT education.
