ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for someone base in the Shrewsbury area, to work as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in a primary school to start from the beginning of the new academic year.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

This role will include the following:

  • A mixture of presenting and supporting lessons across all age ranges in the school.
  • Covering weeklong or day to day placements.
  • Is a great opportunity for ECTs to work on practice as well as build a good rapport with a school in their local area.
  • This cover will commence in September.

This school is a two-form entry school located in the centre of Shrewsbury.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of HLTA- Shrewsbury- September 2024 you will:
  • Have prior experience in a primary school setting.
  • Have confidence in supporting and leading a classroom.
  • Be able to work and communicate well with permanent staff members.
  • Will need a level 4 teaching support qualification, or an educational degree.
  • Be able to gain references from most recent relevant role.
  • Able to obtain a valid DBS registered to the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Salary based on daily rate.
