About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Supply Teacher to join our team in Selly Oak.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective history lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the needs of individual students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to support student learning.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of History Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in History or a related subject.
- Experience teaching history at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for history and education.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach History i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
