About the role
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Health and Social Care Supply Teacher for a long-term position at a thriving secondary school in Northfield, Birmingham. This role is set to begin in September 2025 and will run for the full academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent placement. You will be teaching Health and Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that prepare students for further education and careers in health, care, and community settings. Planning, marking, and assessing will be expected as part of this role.

Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5
- A strong understanding of current curriculum standards and best practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Health and Social Care i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
