About the role
ABC Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Supply Teacher to work with secondary schools in the Yardley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across a variety of schools and help students explore the wonders of our planet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging Geography lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering the National Curriculum.
- Inspire students to understand and appreciate the complexities of the world around them.
- Adapt lessons to suit the diverse needs of learners and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Work effectively as part of a team to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student success.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS January 2025
