About the role
ABC Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Supply Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Moseley, Birmingham. This is a long-term position starting immediately, offering an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging Geography lessons to students aged 11-16. The successful candidate will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Geography, ensuring all pupils are inspired to explore the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to the overall ethos of the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Geography Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Specialism in Geography is essential.
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inspiring a love for Geography in young people.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
