About the role

ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic Geography Supply Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Redditch, Worcestershire. This exciting role offers a competitive salary between M1 – M6 pay scales, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Collaborate with the department and wider school team to support student development

  • Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and student participation

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a safe and inclusive environment

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Geography Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
  • A passion for Geography and a commitment to student success
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt and deliver lessons in a supply teacher capacity
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
