ABC Teachers are seeking a talented individual to join us as a Long-Term Geography Supply Teacher at a reputable secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
About the school
This is a full-time role to work in an established Secondary School located in Redditch, basing yourself in a warm and friendly Humanities Department. The school are part of a Trust dedicated to their staff well-being and student learning. There is on-site parking at the school and nearby transport links.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Geography with a strong subject knowledge
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
