Job Title: General Cover Teacher (Ad-hoc)

About the role

We are looking for an adaptable, motivated, and reliable General Cover Teacher to join a secondary school in Hinckley on an ad-hoc basis. In this role, you will be covering lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and continue their studies as planned. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible work or wanting to gain experience in a variety of secondary school settings.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in teaching or supporting secondary school students, ideally aged 11-16.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards new challenges.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience in teaching or supporting secondary school students, ideally aged 11-16.
