We are seeking a French Teacher to join our team of staff in supporting local vibrant and inclusive secondary schools. The Role

As a French Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in French to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that promote language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and a love for learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their language skills.
• Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an enriching modern foreign languages curriculum.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or exchange programs, to support students’ language learning.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and skilled French Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has a strong command of the French language and a deep understanding of French culture.
• Has experience teaching French at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable).
• Is a confident communicator with excellent classroom management skills.
• Demonstrates a passion for languages and a commitment to student success.
• Is organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to engage in the wider school community.

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
