About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant school in Redditch. If you have the creativity to make lessons engaging and the skills to teach across the food technology curriculum, we want to hear from you!
As a Food Technology Teacher at ABC Teachers, you will:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in food technology to students aged 11-18.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Food Technology Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching food technology at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the food technology curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Food Technology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
