About the role
ABC Teachers is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team, working in secondary schools across Shrewsbury. If you’re passionate about education and confident in managing a classroom, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of regular teachers
- Ensure students stay on task and maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies
- Support students with their learning and respond to any questions or concerns
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role
- Strong classroom management skills
- The ability to engage and motivate students
- A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role
