ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team in Telford and the wider Shropshire area.

We are seeking experienced cover supervisors for long-term roles in a range of schools where you will be well reimbursed.

About the role

  • Supervise and manage students in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline.
  • Provide support to students in their learning activities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support colleagues as needed.
  • Report any issues or incidents to senior staff.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
  • Previous referenceable experience working with children in a school setting for 5 days or more
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Passion for education and the development of young minds.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Previous referenceable experience working with children or in a school setting
