ABC Teachers are recruiting a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher across our partner secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. We seek an innovative and dedicated teacher to inspire students and foster a love for science from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.

About the role

As a Science Teacher with ABC Teachers, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, using a range of strategies to ensure each student reaches their full potential. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach science across KS3 and KS4, adhering to the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging lessons
  • Use assessment data to improve student progress and achievement
  • Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the development of the department

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher- January 25 Start you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant science-related degree
  • Previous experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 is preferred
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
  • Hold or willing to obtain an enhanced DBS, registered to the update service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant science-related degree
