About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a talented and engaging Drama Supply Teacher for a long-term role at a lively and inclusive secondary school in Acock’s Green, Birmingham. This full-time position is set to begin in September 2025 and will run for the full academic year, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be delivering Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with imaginative lessons that develop confidence, creativity, and collaborative skills. The role includes planning, marking, and involvement in extracurricular activities such as school productions or drama clubs.

Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
- A genuine passion for the performing arts and student engagement
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Drama i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
