ABC Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term role at a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Telford, commencing January 2025.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, catering to a range of abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the development of an innovative curriculum and enrichment activities within the Design and Technology department.

Requirements
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology specialisms (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics).
- A commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in students.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
