About the role
ABC Teachers is actively seeking a motivated and adaptable Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor to support a range of secondary schools across Hall Green. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in education and a desire to gain valuable experience within diverse classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring continuity of learning
- Support students in their work and manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Work across a range of subjects and year groups, adapting to the needs of each school

Requirements
- A strong understanding of the UK secondary school curriculum
- Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Flexibility to travel within the Hall Green area and work in various schools
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 5 years.
