A number of secondary schools in Leicester are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their teams on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working with secondary school-aged students. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged, manage their work, and follow the lesson plans provided. • Experience working with secondary school students (ages 11-16), preferably in an educational or supervisory role, but not essential.
• Strong classroom management skills: Ability to maintain control in a classroom and ensure that students remain engaged and productive.
• Good communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate with both students and staff, ensuring expectations are understood.
