As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared plans and materials during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensuring students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting students in their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Reporting any issues or incidents to school staff.
• Provide guidance and support to students to help them complete their assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with other school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

• Experience working with secondary school students is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.
• A passion for education and supporting student development.
• A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

• a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
