The Role
As a Child Development Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Child Development, following the national curriculum and meeting exam board requirements.
- Help students understand the stages of physical, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of all students.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching strategies into your lessons.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Child Development or a related subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus).
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people.
- Possesses strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Is committed to creating a positive impact on students’ learning and development
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
